Why is my second monitor black?

I was using 2 monitors for a few months and out of nowhere my second monitor didnt work anymore. Then i found out that it didnt work because the cable is a bit dead but i managed to get it work again but now it doesnt show anything just black.Is there anything that i can do?

The power cable didnt work there was nothing wrong with the DVI so..

The power cable didnt work there was nothing wrong with the DVI so..

It was working.
Then it broke.
You discovered it was probably the cable, and it kind of worked again.
Now, it does not work again.

Have you replaced the faulty cable?

Then it broke.

No. I had display and everything but then my power cable started to act weird. Now the power cable works again the light is on the screen works but i dont see stuff so.

try that monitor by itself to the computer to see if displays or not which I don't think it will.
