Why is my Sennheiser PC 373D headset low sound ?

Hi guys
Not sure if I am asking this question in the right spot but here goes. Recently I bought a headset from harvey Norman it was Sennheiser PC 373D for just $186 .
After using them I have a problem . The sound really does seem a little bit low . Do I need a better sound card for my motherboard ? I bought my motherboard from pccasegear here it is

How can I increase the sound of the headphones ? Can it be done ? Please help ?

I do hope you know of the volum wheel on the right side of the headset?

And no you dont need a better soundcard.
Its most likely a setting you have forgot somewhere.
