Question Why is my SSD wiping randomly?

So I built a computer back in early april. It is somewhat high end, but the important part is that I have two pro 990 SSDs. One for boot, one for storage. The other day everything on the d drive got wiped without any input from me for the 2nd time. This happened in early May, and I swapped the SDD for a new one at Best Buy. I installed the new one in a different m.2 slot just in case. Everything was working fine until got wiped again the other day. What is weird, both times it happened it was almost exactly 30 days after I built the computer, and after I swapped the SSD. The files get put inexplicably into a roaming folder called appdata/roaming and is not accessible. Doing a recovery scan leads to all the files showing up in a scan but are corrupted on recovery. Both Samsung Magician and Crystal Disk show no issues with the drive.

The 30 days could be a coincidence, but it leads me to believe that some setting is causing this. I am stumped, and nobody I know that is good with computers can give me an answer other than possible defective drives, which is highly unlikely twice in a row. Maybe it's the mobo, idk. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Specs

Asus Tuf x670-plus Wi-Fi

Nvidia 4080 super

2- 2tb Pro 990 SSD

Corsair DDR5 6000 ram 2x16 gb

"almost exactly 30 days" leads me to think some software (malware?) is doing this.

That is not a drive issue.
Me as well. The os is windows 11. Is there any setting in there or the ASUS bios that would wipe the drive every 30 days? There is none i can find. Windows defender scans dont show any malware. The 30 days from the building the computer would mean it has been there from day 1. I have not installed any suspect programs. I dont know what software it could be.

Only wipes then d drive. Doesnt touch the c drive

When these wipes happen is the drive still active in windows.

Meaning what is the state of the drive when you find all your data MIA.

Is it in a Raw form or is it formatted still and after you have lost all the data can you move a test file to drive like nothing has happened minus all your past stuff is gone.

It is like nothing happened. All the word docs and such were just gone but it left the folders for the steam games with nothing inside. The strange thing is the 2nd time it happened it was while using the computer. Happened in the background without my knowing. After it wipes you can copy files there no problem. The recovered files are corrupted though.

That I have to side with already suggested malware. Are you the only one with access to your computer?
Yes. I ran autoruns and no programs or files show any threat level. I imagine if it is malware then it would have been on there from day one. This computer was built in early april and the first wipe was about 30 days after that.

At the appropriate time(s), is there anything in the Event Viewer?
Yes there is a lot of events. Thousand but on june 6th which is the date it happened there a few with id number 131. it says "Metadata staging failed, result=0x80070490 for container '{5B21263E-E634-518B-81D2-FED55187A618}'"
