Why is my Toshiba Canvio 3TB putting files from the external into my recycling bin? I am a photographer & I cannot have this happening as I have to keep ALL of my photos from all of my previous photo shoots. PLEASE HELP! This is a MAJOR ISSUE! Thank you in advance!

Not sure why your external is deleting files, but just look through the storage forum and you will understand that you should *never* consider a USB drive a form of adequate back up for anything important. They die and malfunction all the time due to something as simple as powering them down at the wrong time. I would recommend that you use a second form of storage ASAP (DVDs, cloud, etc.) to protect your work.
