Why is my USB not showing in my computer?

I have been at this for two hours.

This entire search for an answer has been started by checking that it isn't just a wonky USB port. I looked up similar questions online and to no avail. I even completely uninstalled my USB drivers forcing Windows to re-install them.

The oddest thing though when investigating this issue, is that it isn't visible in the Computer, but it is in Disk Management - with no name, and is Unallocated.

I don't know what to do. Sorry if this question seems completely idiotic. What can I say? I'm not a software specialist. 🙁

Thanks for reading my question. Have a wonderful day! :)

Yes. My mouse and keyboard both run off of USB. 🙁
And actually it wouldn't even matter. I need the USB to switch my OS to Linux (I originally had Linux, and don't very much care for windows now that I've tried and bought it).

PS, I accidentally clicked your post as solving my problem. Let it be known that I do in fact still have am issue. xD

Alright I'll see if another USB drive works or not. Anyway, thanks for helping me out! :)

No problem
