Whenever I play a game or launch something intensive, the voltage shoots up to 1.440 volts on my AMD Athlon X4 750k,my motherboard is gigabyte f2a88xm-d3h. I want it to be operating at 1.35v when I launch something intensive because that's the stock voltage and my temps are too high. How would I go about doing this? Also I am not planning to overclock

open up the program and see if you set default settings. It may already be installed on your computer

I really don't want to touch the BIOS because I is too chicken to be messing around there. Is there any way one can set it from the desktop? But if I have to, I will

Yes from the motherboard product page, there is this utility called EasyTune6 but I don't know how to set the voltage from there.
