why is network usage so high?

I checked task maneger on my newly built pc and task manager tells me that there is 100% network usage when there is no programs that are even using any network data.How can i fix this?i am using the realtek lan drivers by the way

Either it is still running updates, or possibly you have a virus of some sort.

Load the resource monitor, it is a click box one of the task manager screens.

The network part of the resource monitor will actually tell you the program that is running.....now if it tells you it is one of the system processes then it is much more difficult to see what it really is.
