Why is Newegg shipping so slow?

Seriously, it took them a two days to ship out and now ten bloody days to ship to me. Jesus this is ridiculous. I'm only one province away, shit from the U.S is quicker then them

Sounds like it is the shipper that is at fault, not Newegg. Once it leaves their hands, they don't have any control of it.

you do realize yesterday was christmas right? shippers are completely swamped so getting anything fast is difficult unless you go with faster shipping options.

the only thing newegg is responsible for is getting it out the door. usually they are faster than 2 days but they could be swamped this time of year still. of course if you picked slow shipping options this also is a factor to consider.

yeah, I realize it's not newegg's fault now, looking at the carriers site I can see why my package hasn't moved for three days. They're closed for the holidays (25th, 26th, and 27th) and I honestly regret not paying for express shipping. Honestly <edited> Purolator though, it shouldn't take 10 days to have my package get here.

I've had things delivered from NewEgg recently within 2-3 days, which is a big improvement from the last time (5-10 days).
