I have a new Intel NUC pc running Windows 7.
My Samsung SP2004C 3.5 drive works perfectly from my HD docking station but the newer WD Caviar Blue is not recognised. But both are recognised by my old laptop!
I tried the eSATA cable and the USB cable link with the same result.
The NUC has USB 3 ports, not USB 2 but I did try using a USB 2 hub.
Is there a rational reason and anything I can do about it? Or is there a technology demon or gremlin causing these problems. (Problems with USB 3 front ports too!)
