Why is ram recognized at 1333?

my ram is suppose to run at 1600mhz. why does it recognize it at 1333? i have an am3+ mobo, fx 4100 cpu, and the ram is corsair XMS3 1600 mhz single dim 9-9-9-24. when i try to put it at 1600 mhz it works fine but then says the timings are 11-11-11-24 ( might be 25 or 26 on the last one) thanks you for help !

On the FX the default will the the highest 'SPD' up to DDR3-1866 but not the XMP (Intel only). Run CPU-z and look at the 'SPD' tab.
