Why is the ati radeon always crashining

I have downloaded EZVID AND IT ALWAYS CRASHES. Why is the ATI Radeon x1250 always crashing this.

10GB free hard drive space
1024 x 768 screen resolution
DirectX 9.0 or later
Windows media player

These are system requirements for Ezvid, it should meet all the criteria, especially sp3 on microsoft xp.
