Why is the fan cable twisted?

I opened my HP PC and was surprised to see that my cooler's fan cable is twisted. Why are they trying to achieve with that? Should all cables be twisted?

it helps cancelling out electromagnetic interference from other cables that have similar cables, which would possible confuse it.
It basically reduces the noise to stop interference, would recommend leaving it that way it's fine like that there are a lot to it and a lot of different ways wiring, and that is just how this one is 'twisted pair' cabling.

it also prevent him to get loose and stick in the fan blades .
