Why is the i7-4770k Better than the amd 8350?

the i7-4770k has 4 cores and 3.5 Ghz
The Amd 8350 has 8 cores and 4 ghz
so why is the i7 better?

and what motherboard shud i buy for the i7-4770k if i end up ordering that one

Intel has stronger cores than AMD and higher performance per clock!
But in rendering 8350 is better than i7 because of extra cores and multitasking but not by much
AMD wins only in programs which can utilize that 4 extra cores but in single, dual or quad core tasks AMD sucks!
