Question Why is the MOBO only displaying 1 GPU

Hello,
I am having an issue where the MOBO wont display the 2 GPUs I have inserted.
I have tried several options, and it seems like the MOBO wont display a GPU inserted in the PCI-e 5 slot, but only in the PCI-e 2 slot.
Bot GPUs work, and have the latest driver installed.

Inside BIOS, Board Explore, is where the GPU in PCI-e 5 wont be displayed - Also, if I only use this slot and connect my pc screen, the screen goes into "slumber" mode.

My setup:
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670k CPU @ 3.40GHz
GPU:2x Geforce GTX 660 Twin Frozr
Motherboard: Msi Z87-G45
Ram: 8gb
SSD/HDD: Samsung 125gb + 1TB HDD
PSU:corsair cx750
Chassis: %
OS: Windows 10 Education 64-bit

The operating mode will be x16/ x0/ x0, x8/ x8/ x0, or x8/ x4/ x4. Please always install expansion card into the PCI_E2 “First”.

Thank you for the answer, and my apology for the late reply.

I am not sure I understand what you were saying with that info tbh.
To boil it down simply:
Both GPU's works separately, and have also worked in SLI in the past. Now when both are inserted the BIOS only registers 1 GPU, while the other is clearly running with power going through it.

Do you, or someone who reads this, have any idea of what might be going on?

read the manual to see which 2 slot to use with 2 gpu

I have, and it's the only 2 slots I can use, and those 2 have worked together in the past

It seems like the motherboard does atumatically detect the 2nd GPU (in the PCI-e5 slot) make changes in the BIOS as needed.
