because they wanted to do something different with the marathon. We would see very similar builds considering the extra price of haswell cpu's and that the next gen gpus were not readily available in all budgets.

Also because many readers have asked for an ITX or small form factor SMB for a while now. Tom's staff is pretty good at listening to readers, so they gave us something new.
