Hi

why Xbox Series S is weaker than the Series X when both have same hardware !
Especially in GPU , series S has 1/3 Teraflops less (12 vs 4) with same chipset !

Well, its website says the difference is the Processor, not GPU - https://www.xbox.com/en-AU/consoles/compare
but that isn't accurate

CPU runs 200mhz faster in the X
GPU
Series X GPU has 52 CU @ 1.82ghz
Series S has 20 CU running @ 1.56ghz

more ram running at a faster speed in X
more storage 1tb in X vs 512gb in S
Blue ray drive (on X only)

the 30 missing CU in GPU is the main difference.

I owned a series s, now I have the series x. Basically cpu is slightly slower but not much, less ram, and a little bit weaker gpu.

That said if you’ve got an older TV or monitor or just don’t have much cash get a series s. If you’ve got a 4K TV that can handle hdr and have older disc based games or have to have better graphics get the series x. Personally I’m glad I upgraded to the series x. Not that the series s was terrible but I feel like sometimes you can tell a difference. The graphics just seem a bit more crisp imo.
