Right, so here's the deal:
I have a budget Gaming PC with the following hardware:
Intel Core i3-4150
EVGA GTX 750 Ti
6GB DDR3 RAM
MSI H81M-E33
And I was wondering why there is such a difference in performance between certain games. For example Just Cause 3 (one of my favourite games) I have to run at lowest possible settings, and even then I get lots of FPS drops, however, I can run Star Wars Battlefront at High/Ultra settings with a solid 60FPS lock. As far as I can tell, SWBF has better looking graphics thatn JC3 so I'm a bit confused as to why there is such a huge difference.
I get that JC3 is open world, and might focus more on RAM usage (Which i am upgrading in the next month to 8GB 1400Mhz) as it has more game world to load/store, but I didn't think the difference would be this huge.
Any explanations?
Thanks
