I bought an nzxt source 530 as my case for my upcoming build and I was looking at the cabling coming from the front panel. I stumbled upon a sata power female connector and I followed it to the pcb of the power and reset switches. What is this sata power going to be used for? The manual does list all the connectors from the front I O and what they are used for, but fails to mention anything about the female sata power connector.

Update: there is another molex connector that the manual is going to power the fan hub and the front panel LEDs

Yes I am sure the usb 3.0 connector is a blue rectangular shaped connector. The connector I found was L shaped and the exact same length as the sata power port on my ssd

When I first read your post I thought it was for an eSATA (external SATA) connector.
I have a Coolermaster case with this connector and you plug a SATA cable from the motherboard into the cable you have.
But your front panel does not have eSATA so I am stumped.

You know I did notice an LED on the back with wires going to the same pcb where the mysterious sata cable lead to... Thanks.
