I can feel the epic face palms right now. XD
Anyway I was looking up the GeForce GT 730. And I noticed that there is different brand names like....
Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce GT 730
Asus Geforce GT 730
Zotac Geforce GT 730 etc

How do I know what one is compatible with my system?

Solution
The are mainly the same card, only with different coolers, and different factory clocks set by different manufacturers.
The difference from one card to the other is very slim, so the performance you would get is kinda similar.

Just to make you understand why this happens, let`s say Nvidia or AMD create a phone, that you can buy just like they build it.
But they also gove it to other companies who play with the menu a bit and change the colour of the case of the phone, and sell it for a slightly bigger price.

The difference between brands of the same GPU is simply the company that put the GPU chip onto their PCB and slap their cooler on.

The only compatibility issue I can see are simply physical dimension differences between each company's coolers. As long as the physical dimenions fit and your motherboard has a PCI-E slot, all models should work.
