We're talking over $300 price difference for the same card. Is this just because of the gpu pricing craziness that we've had over the past couple of years or is there a valid reason? Any reason not to go with a $559 card vs a $850+ card? Is there a performance difference between the smaller 2-fan cards vs the bigger 3-fan ones? If not, why do they even make bigger ones since there should be no benefit?

A lot of those are marketplace sellers. Many of them are shipping from China, so yes, just old listings.

Stick with the ones sold and shipped by Newegg.

Ahh yes that looks like the reason why! Do you know if there's a difference between the smaller and bigger GPU's though? Are the 'mini' variants of the same card worse?
Thanks!

They don't cool as well, so they will perform slightly worse than the larger ones. The GPUs will balance temperature and power to achieve as high a clock frequency as possible. The cooler they are the better they can do that.

So the cheapest one there has a decent cooler, but the more expensive ones with 3 fans are larger. They may also end up being quieter overall.
