Why is this happening.

Hello,

At my home I have an 4 and half year old pc Quad Core (Q8400) not to bad but when I switch my pc of for long say a hole day come back home and power it up nothing happens then I take my girls head dryer and blow it with hot air for 20sec then after that it powers up do not understand that? If someone no anything y this happens please let me know.\

Hi, It might be a cold solder joint. How many RAM sticks using?

Have 4=6gig ram how can i find the cold slder joint

Hard to find it. My guess is that it's a RAM issue. Try leaving only one RAM stick and test. Test each module.
