Why is this R9 280x cheaper than the others?

It's wayy cheaper than all the other R9 280x. Why is that?

Oh, and should I get an R9 280x or a GTX 770?

It's on sale. Normally its about the same price as the other 280Xs. For $250 get the 280x, the small performance edge the 770 has on the 280x isn't worth the extra cost.

cheaper low cost no thrills parts is all that comes to my mind .

some ones got to have the low buck item and today it that one

Yes , had two fail on me , now won't touch them , but check the review and decide for yourself.

Is it true that the above GPU is just on sale? It's still pretty much the same as the other 280x's right?

ya--i will admit my last sapphire card was not so good and i replaced it with in 5 months ,but just could of been my turn to get a lemon . it haf shuddering and would not display any crt monitor . fooled with it for 4 months and decided to replace it, and the replacement card [not sapphire] work fine right out of the box no issues

after you spend $250 for somthing that dont work as expected its hard to go back to them twice in a row
