[SOLVED] why is this ram so cheap on ebay?

I know ram prices tend to fluctuate alot but this is ridiculous... 16 dollars for 16gb ddr4 3000mhz???
the ram is called xpg gammix d30 cl16 black its only this ram ive seen as low as 16 dollars with it being around 60 to 30 to 16. really bad ram or overstock or just faulty?
Im looking for new ram for my ryzen machine so if theres no reason to not trust it should i just go for it?

i could see if it is listed as used and the seller wants to dump it fast.

but i agree with USAF if it is listed as new. its too good to be true and we all know how that usually works out.

Probably a scam. Lots of those on ebay right now. 🙁 DO NOT buy any of these things as someone in the pipe loses and the scammer does get paid in most cases--that's why they keep doing it.
