Why is this SSD so cheap? Would it be ok for a cheap HTPC?

I am putting a HTPC together and wanted a cheap ssd and i came across this.

It's only 8GB, that's why.

Because the capacity of it is only 8GB according to the listing. Very very small capacity. Would not be good for much.

Because it's only 8gb, so really not worth anything. Couldn't put an O/S on it, nor any games really. You'll want at least a 60gb for an O/S, and more realistically at least a 120gb.

Not even close.
Win 7 will 'install' with 20GB space. Just barely.
However, once you apply all the updates, etc...it becomes much, much larger.

Christmastime, I build a new box. Win 7 Home Premium x64. After the OS, updates, drivers, a small set of utilities (~1GB), and MS Office (~3GB)...it was 47GB used space.

Given that you need to leave at least 10-15% free space, even a 64GB drive is right on the edge of 'too small'.
