Why is Tom's interrupting

I have to look at my keyboard when I type and so I don't see what's going on on the screen until I'm done typing. Unfortunately that doesn't work with your new format that says something like "You have new messages, would you like to view them". It removes the cursor from the text box and focuses the attention on the notice. Meanwhile I'm typing in the wind oblivious to the rude interruption. Why do you feel it's necessary to interrupt us when were busy? I'm just wondering the logic behind it.

BTW I didn't receive a new message or an alert so I'm not sure what Tom's is doing.

I noticed that the typing is very slow when responding from both my PC and the phone and I wish I knew what they were doing in the background on this website

Hmmm It’s funny because on multiple different pc in different environments and locations like work or friends. so I’m not quite so convinced of this because it would mean every PC I’ve tested has the same problem which is unlikely. But thanks for the reply

Except in a very few specialist cases the gap between pressing a key and it appearing on screen is all controlled on the local machine. The gap between posting the reply and it appearing is all server side however.

And it did it again. What does it help? I have email notifications. I have that alert bell. At least let us continue to type. .
