Why is wifi DRASTICALLY slower than Ethernet?

I recently upgraded to 200mbps internet through Time Warner Cable. When I connect my laptop to the router via Ethernet, I get 200-220 Mbps. However, using my iPhone to wirelessly test the connection I only get around 30mbps. On 5ghz I get around 60mbps. Using my laptop wirelessly with the 5ghz band, I get a maximum of 80. I think I should be getting at least 100 wirelessly... What is causing this?!? Thanks in advance for the help.

Interference, distance, poor antennas...

The only way to get a theoretical max from WiFi is in a perfectly constructed room, with great antennas, and the source is right next to the device.
