recently I have been fooling with my Laptop by getting so new ram and an SSD. but after installing the ram, windows don't recognize it but other programs like CPU-z recognize the ram. so then while looking through CPU-z I found that only two cores of my quad-core i7 where being recognized by task manager and CPU-z . is there any way to fix this. by the way, can someone tell me how to add photos to a post because I have a screenshot of CPU-z but I don't know how to add it to a post?

sincerely Jack

the ram is 2gb hmt325s6bfr8c Hynix. it is from another laptop. I just had ram laying around so I thought I should try putting it in my main laptop.
thank you for the help with my CPU. I was unaware of the difference between cores and threads.
