Question Why isn't my MSI GL66 charging ?

I am wondering why isn't my laptop charging. I plugged it out and plugged it back in and is this a safety feature to prevent overcharge cycles? Also, if I don't keep battery at 100% , will I lose FPS and gaming performance or not?

nvm, I found out why. If the laptop is charging around less than 80 percent or something like that, it would not charge as to ensure to reduce charge cycles which can protect the battery of the GL66.

Thanks for the update. That's correct.
It's the same with my mobile phone. In the settings it says if you set it to stop charging when it gets to 80% it will extend the overall life of the battery.
That's very important because the battery in my phone cannot be replaced (you can't even open my phone 'cos it's fully sealed to make it waterproof).
