Why key config of Dark souls 2 is like xbox even if its a pc game?

I am playing dark soul 2 on my pc but the key config looks like of xbox controller .for e.g to open door or to examine,button A(in a green circle) is prompted rather than 'ENTER' key.pls help.it's very uncomfortable to play.

From Software was too lazy to change it. You can download a mod that changes the icons here.

As the page states using any mods while playing online might get you banned.
