Why laptop restarts on shutdown

Hello, My laptop PC restarts on shut down

i find that i disable awake on timer in the power option menu fixes the problem for me. No explanation of why or it could just be a coincidence. I am theorizing that some piece of software is set to awake the computer for some reason.

You may have background tasks running in the background that casues the computer to wake.
