[SOLVED] Why most RGB components are in black color?

Why are most RGB components black? For examples, mouse pad, fans, ram are mostly black. How come?

Black has basically become the industry standard in terms of color, so there really is not much incentive to change it.
White is becoming more common, but thats a smaller market.
Black also dosent reflect/diffuse color as much as white would, meaning the colors are cleaner where they are instead of making a system so bright you cant see it.

More or less, RGB is a phase, black as a standard has been around much longer.

Thanks. My keyboard, mouse and desk are white. I wonder if a big Cosair black rgb mouse pad would look good or not.

Depends. Do you have any white paper you can mock it up with?
Sometimes some contrast is nice. I personally dont like the idea of RGB mousepads, since I dont spend much time looking down.
