I have Gigabyte Z390 aorus master board and installed Samsung 970 Evo NVme M.2 SSD in M2P slot which is the third slot ...
And my old Samsung 850 Pro SSD in Sata 1_1 slot... Im booting win10 from NVMe slot...

When I checked my ssd performance via Samsung Magician it showed 970 EVO SEQ read/write as 3571/2493
and My old 850 pro req read/write as 7394/6231

Also i found that Magician software showing 970 Evo NVMe showing Rapid Mode as "Not Supported" and for 850 Pro the Rapid Mode is "ON"

Is ther something wrong I did or it is normal...

Btw my AORUS Master M.2 slots details as given in manual is :
1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 SATA and PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2M)
1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 SATA and PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2A)
1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280 PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2P)

I would consult your motherboard manual, to make sure there isn't some kind of bios setting, that you need to use, when using an Nvme drive. Do you have all the latest drivers installed, for your motherboard? You can get those on the manufacturer's website, if not. Gigabyte might even have a utility that will assist you in getting the latest drivers. You might want to check for bios updates, as well.
