:bounce: this is a custom computer, the temperature is always at 52-54 degrees C According to the PC Probe II software that came with the mobo.

even if i'm not doing anything is 52-54C. I only have one cpu fan and one rear 120mm fan and the case has ventilation inside the case doesn't feel very hot. I have the soprano dx case, even if take the side lid off and leave it open it still at 52 C.

this mobo has four heat sinks the ones that are hot are the north and south bridge the others that are on the top of the mobo feel cool.

Do the Heat sinks suppose to get Hot to protect the chips? Do you think the Heat Sensor is sensing the Heat that is in the Heat Sinks and Not the temperature of the Chip?
If the Heat Sink is very hot the Chip is also hot?

Well I know that PC Probe is known to not be very accurate all of the time. The heatsinks will most likely be warm if they are getting loaded, however it could be that they weren't installed properly.
