Hi. I'm having a problem with one of my friend's computer. It keeps going back to my computer in explorer and to homepage in browsers (tried Internet Explorer and Google Chrome). At first it takes about 10-20 seconds until it starts and after that it' s going back almost instantaneously. At the moment I'm totally out of ideas, excepting windows reinstall, which I dont't like at all.

I used SuperAntispyware, Malwarebytes, Spybot S&D and Nod32 Antivirus to scan for infections, but even if they found some malware and removed it, the problem persists. I also used ccleaner to fix problems, checked if some accessibility features like sticky keys, filter keys, etc. are on, checked the mouse and keyboard to see if is something wrong with their buttons, looked at startup items and those running in task manager, but still nothing. Any more ideas, please?

Not very clear what is happening, what do you mean "going back"? It's acting like it's hitting the back button or something else? Try a new mouse and keyboard.

When you clean out a virus, it does not clean out what changes it did, so if there was something on the system it will just remove that file, not revert the changes.

Hi again. Sorry for the late reply. The situation was somehow funny, like a contest between me and someone else: who is faster, me at opening new pages or windows or the other one at going back to the first one opened. This really made me think it is a really nasty virus.
But in the end, the culprit turned out to be the keyboard. Even if at first it seemed to be functional, a few days later my friend noticed , while trying to write something, that some keys were not working. He bought a new keyboard and everything is working fine now. Problem solved !
I'm sorry for bothering you when the solution was such a simple one.
Thank you for your help!

Yep, in issues like this first thing to rule out is a bad keyboard or mouse then look for other causes.
