why my Core 2 Quad Q6600 doesn't suport with VenomRX Ram 2GB DDR 3 Pc1600?

i have tried my new cpu, but it won't work
i have new Core 2 Quad Q6600
i already instal the CPU into my Motherboard
my motherboard is CardexPro G41
with 2gb ddr3 venomrx ram pc1600

Because Core 2 Quad Q6600 does not support any memory--it has no onboard memory controller so only knows how to talk to a Northbridge.

You must buy RAM the memory controller in the G41 chipset supports, and for DDR3 that's 2Gbit density. Nowadays "low density" memory refers to 4Gbit for Sandy/Ivy Bridge, while standard density is 8Gbit for AMD and Haswell/Broadwell.

That's why it's better to use DDR2 for Core 2--much easier to find compatible memory.
