Question why my cpu pentium dual core e5500 fine clock not working?

i was overclocking my cpu and i had an option to increase multiplier to 14.5 and it was not working i had seen in cpuz but no speed increase...
what is the best option to overclock pentium dual core e5500..

FSB overclocking, there are articles on the net ,you might have a chance .

if i decrease multiplier to 12 and fsb to 333 it will get to 4ghz will it require more voltage???
i had overclock to 3.30ghz at multiplier to 14 and fsb to 236 but increase more window crashes..i didnt increase core voltage a bit..

increase your FSB till it crashes ,and then roll it back by one step, i got my E8400 to around 3.3 GHz without touching the multiplier and voltage.

i had increase the fsb to 237 pc crashes
the max is 3.30 ghz thanks for help
