why my games are lagging

i have gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2PV,
processor- AMD FX-6300,
ram-Kingston fury 8GB,
graphics- AMD radeon HD 5450 2GB,
operating system- win 10 64bit,
all updated drivers.,
but i have very poor gaming experience on my PC, every game is lagging, i cant able to play any of the game on my PC, please help me with this problem.

Hello!

Have you tried turning down the graphics settings for games?

They are usually located at options -> Advanced Options -> Graphical Settings or something similar to that.

By turning down the settings your game quality will degrade but performance will improve.

You can also try lowering the resolution because most likely you are running games at 1920x1080, try lowering it to other values and that will help performance, I suggest 1280x720, that should help you a lot

This is the primary reason for your lag. This graphics card is extremely slow for gaming and only suitable for watching YouTube.

I would say Nvidia 750Ti or Nvidia 950 - they are both a good match for your CPU.

EDIT: Also, make sure that you have at least 350W PSU for Nvidia 750Ti, or 450 for Nvidia 950.

A Nvidia card will be perfectly compatible with an AMD processor. The brand of GPU is irrelevant (as long as it is a quality card). An Nvidia 950 would be perfect for your needs as you don't have a particularly powerful system. You should be able to play quite a few games though.

Yes, you can pick Nvidia or AMD for GPU, it does not matter. If you like AMD better, RX460 is also an option.
