Why my GPU usage is so high??

I have an i5 4440 with an IGP Intel HD Graphics 4600 and 4 Gigs of RAM. When I play CS GO in high settings I see 100% GPU usage and MEM usage is 280-290mb and RAM usage is only 2096 mb. But I have seen in Youtube videos that other hd 4600s are getting used at 85-94% with a MEM usage of 500-900mb at high settings and RAM usage is about 4000-5000mb (they have 8 Gigs of RAM though) . So is that low mem usage increasing my GPU usage??? Or my IGPU is not working properly??

Yep, probably because of the RAM. Integrated graphics profit alot from more/faster RAM.

Higher GPU usage is a good thing, it means nothing is stopping the GPU from performing at maximum to give you the highest FPS its capable of.

Is it safe that the GPU is running at 99-100% constant in game??? Or will the IGPU get degraded??

Yeah totally safe. In many games if I turn off VSync (that limits frame rate), I can hit 100% on my gpu.

I would recommend getting a proper graphics card for gaming though, youll get much better performance even with a low-mid range card like the GTX 750.

Ok...I am already planning to buy a MSI gtx 750ti Twin Frozr for 900p gaming at medium to high settings.
