My primary Drive is SSD and I have installed a second Drive which is HDD. But my second HDD is shown as USB device. When I sleep my laptop that drive is ejected automatically which is an issue. I want it permanent like my primary SSD drive.
Windows shows it like this:

My Specs:
Device name Lenovo Thinkpad T440
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4300M CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.89 GB usable)

Solution
Ashfaq, have a look in the BIOS for an option called "Hot Plug", and if you find it, disable it for the problem drive.

Hot Plug is a feature that turns a fixed disk into a removable one and displays an icon in the safely-remove hardware section as shown in your screenshot.

However, I've only ever seen that option on desktop computers so it may not exist in your laptop BIOS options. It's worth having a look though.

Caddy kit?

Make and model kit?

What internal connections are being used inside the Thinkpad to connect caddy to laptop?

In the "Type here to search" box type "Create and format hard disk partitions". (Not actually going to do that - just getting more information.)

Screen capture and post the full Disk Management window that opens.

Thank you so much for your response.
Yes I replaced DVD Rom with Caddy kit and installed HDD in it. (Actually there was no DVD in my laptop, there was a dummy thing to kept that place filled)

Disk 0 is SSD
Disk 1 is HDD

Again, how is the HDD connected to the motherboard? Ports on the hard drives or ports on the enclosure used in your drive bay? If it's the latter, it is an external HDD now.

Sidebar:

@ashfaq-theLord - will add a quick comment regarding the exernal Drive E: Not germane to the issue at hand but the drive is 85% full.

Do not know what you use the drive for but I would be remiss if I did not offer a "heads up". Quite likely that the drive will start experiencing or causing performance problems. All the more so as the drive fills up.

Especially if you are not aware nor expecting the drive to be that full....
