Question Why my laptop's battery discharging so fast?

I have a brand new laptop since February, it is Asus F571GT with 3 cell 42 WHr lithium polymer battery. The battery is discharging so fast although I just use my laptop to browse the internet.

Here is the hardware spec:
Processor: i7 9750-h
RAM: 12 GB
Discrete video card: GeForce GTX 1650

Software battery x diagnosed my laptop's battery discharging rate:

Average: 42 % / hour
Today Discharging Rate: 62% / hour

Is there any error or malfunction in my laptop power management or in the battery itself?

Since it's new and in warranty contact ASUS support. Non-gaming use it should last more than 2 hours probably.

Have you checked how many other programs and stuff you have in your system tray? Closing programs that aren't needed open can help. The system tray is the little up pointing arrow in the bottom right of your screen next to the battery symbol. You can right click the programs in the tray and then click exit. Also could you go into task manager (ctrl + alt + delete then press task manager) and go onto performance and then tell me the usage percentage of your GPU and CPU (Processor and Graphics Card) Thanks!
