[SOLVED] Why my motherboard doesnt work with DDR3 4GB ram?

Hello, I have an Asrock G41M-VS3 R2.0 with a Core 2 Quad Q9400, I bought two DDR3 4GB of ram because in it's page says that 8GB is the max amount that the sistem can have

But it doesnt work, it doesn't matter if I put the ram in slot one or 2 with only one stick of ram, the pc turns on but doesn't post, I tried removing CMOS battery, also the BIOS is updated to it last version, do I need a custom Bios?

Any solution?

There's a note in the specs page:

**In order to maximize the system memory, please install 4GB memory module with 16 cells or 2GB memory modules with at least 8 cells.

It means if the 4GB RAM stick has 8 chips (or chips on one side), it won't work. It requires the 4GB RAM stick to have 16 chips. This likely has to do with memory ranks.

Isn't there any way to use that stick of ram in the motherboard? I can't give back the two sticks of ram
