Why my PC is turning off automatically?

Hi guys,

I am in very irritating situation actually my PC is turning off automatically even I have formatted it two times but the problem is remain as it was. Processor is Intel Pentium p4. please share your suggestion.

Bad RAM, bad PSU and overheating would be the first things I would test.

Memtest for the RAM, Coretemp for the temperatures and the PSU you'll need to physically swap it out with another to test.

Blue screen/error before shut off is most likely ram. If it just turns off completely on its own then the CPU is overheating, I've had an issue with a mates PC like that before and a new heatsink/fan took care of the problem. Make sure the fan on your cpu cooler is not dead.

@maxiim and @gopher1369 , Thanks both of you, it was overheating/fan related problem and now I have replaced fan and my PC is running properlly now.. thanks again
