As purple stank says, I would also highly recommend installing additional RAM. 4GB total is the sweet spot for gaming today. Even though you have a 32 bit OS, your OS will use 3.5GB of RAM and should be good for gaming too.

Also as purple mentioned, do you have a discrete GPU? Onboard GPU's are junk for gaming.
