Why my Q9550 do not work in my Asrock G31M-VS2

Solution
Did you reset the CMOS after installing the Q9550? Have you tested it without the discrete GPU and with a single memory module? If nothing helps and your Q9550 stepping is C0, C1 or E0, then I'd presume the motherboard has an issue preventing the Q9550 from working.
Which BIOS version did you update the board to? You will need to go into BIOS and check if you're BIOS update went through.

Can you please pass on your full system's specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

What was you CPU prior to the Q9550 upgrade? Are you sure you didn't bent any CPU socket pins on the motherboard?

I update the bios to version 1.20 (the last one) and the processor does not double any motherboard pin, currently the motherboard that works with a Pemtium 4 @ 3Ghz (I do not know the exact model) and this is the one I think Upgrade to Q9550

CPU:Intel Pentium 4 @3Ghz
Motherboard:Asrock G31M-VS2
Ram😛atriot 2GB DDR2 667Mhz
HDD: 250GB 2.5"
GPU:Ati Radeon HD 2400 XT/Pro
PSU:Generic 600W
Chassis:Aiteg(I Don´t Know the exact model)
OS:Windows 7 32 Bits

yep in a pegatron IPM41-D3 But in the asrock cpu support list says that if it supports this card, why not boot?
