Why my speakers are not detected ?!

windows 10 did not detect my speakers or headphones , there is just the digital audio in the controle pannel . I had this problem before in windows 7 but a friend fixed the problem for me within moments .Unfortunately I cannot contact him at this period . I tried updating and reinstalling audio drivers, checked mute,... desabled and enabled it on bios.... almost tried every thing , but nothing works !

go to sound properties right click the volume icon sound prop see if your speakers are displaying

are the drivers at the nvidia site the same as the CD drivers or not ? cause I think it got repaired from nvidia CD last time I got this problem but I don't have it anymore so I downloaded it and nothing happens .

A fried adviced me to download driver booster so i did that and i updated the sound software with it ... and boom !! the sound came back ! but thanks anyway ac13044 for your answers , I appreciate that .
