I have a computer that I wanted to install win 11 but it says my computer does not meet the minimum requirements, why?
my PC specs:
i7 11700K
16GB 2666
GTX 1660 6G
512GB M.2
2TB HDD WD Blue
Prime B560M A

nope, thats a bitlocker, windows app, that has to be encrypted manually if you want to
but yes, once you do that and u get no backup keys and u decide to replace CPU...hmm data lost for sure
bitlocker is not enabled by default

discrete is if you have tpm chip inserted into mainboard
ftpm is firmware based
bot of them will work, but dTPM requires this:

without it its same as tpm disabled, its not needed, if fTPM is available
so there is no problem to enable fTPM?
i heard it may can block the hard information

The minimum system requirements to install Windows 11:
  • A modern 64-bit processor
  • 1GHz clock speed, at least 2 cores
  • 4GB of RAM and 64GB Drive
  • UEFI, Secure Boot capable
  • Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0 or newer
  • 9-inch display with a minimum resolution of 1366 x 768
  • Compatible with DirectX 12 or later with WDDM 2.0 driver
  • List of Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm processors that support Windows 11
i have the all requirements except TPM2.0
what happened if i enable fTPM 2.0? i dont have dTPM

tpm does nothing on its own
windows will use it for security and user login
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/information-protection/tpm/how-windows-uses-the-tpm

tpm can be reseted anytime without any issues, windows will just inform you that you have to use full password instead of pin (if you had pin stored in tpm before resetting tpm)
in your case tpm was disabled..so nothing should feel different
