[SOLVED] Why new app to open existing docs

Hi All
I have lenovo ideapad 320s. As of yesterday I am unable to open existing microsoft office docs (word powerpoint excel etc). When I click to open, am getting a message asking me to download new app to open and what app I want to download....can anyone help ? No idea why this has happened...

Do you have MS office installed ? If so, you can associate docs files with appropriate program from MS Office.
Right click on a file, for instance .docx and choose to open with Word. .xls with Excell etc.
