Hello I am builiding my system and when posting it, an expert of the systems threads told me that my 2x4GB Kingston HyperX did not have " a thing called XMP profiles which help you easily set up the RAM speeds."

And he suggested:
"I would use GSkill or Corsair".

Could you please go deeper in the question?

And, given he is right, pick from this link the best quality/price choice.

Here is my MOBO in case it is needed

Solution

All are good makers, but the Kingston hyperX Fury use PnP=Plug'nPlay as said above which makes them set themselves up properly so they don't need XMP for that.Other Kingston ram uses XMP as well.

For XMP it's good to know you need to enable it in the bios/uefi otherwise will the ram work at default speeds called spd profile which often is 1333mhz for ddr3 ram.
