I'm running a quad-core 4.2 fx on a gigabyte that has had issues since I got it. I'm looking at the new sabertooth, but I would love to put my fx on a dual socket server board, and game off of that. However, apparently nobody anywhere makes them? that's understandable...but, why? ???

Solution
They aren't available because the available AM3+ CPUs and chipsets don't support a multi-CPU function. To put it simply, they weren't designed to support that capability.

If you want a multi-CPU config, you would have to look at Xeons (Intel) or Opterons (AMD).

Have a great day!
