[SOLVED] Why second HDD in dual docking station also heats?

I have a Thermaltake BlacX Duet hard drives docking station. It is for two hdds. I inserted 2 hdds but copied files only to one of them. There was a lot of copying and the two hard drives were really in heat. Could you tell me why the second hdd was also heated. I thought that it was idle. So, why should it heat?

Both are turning, so both heat up. Motor in HDD is part that heats most.

Does that docking station also include a cooling assembly? Or, can a cooling assembly be set underneath the docking station?
